Founded in 2013, Smart Kids, Inc. is a public 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides academic and community services to K-12 students of St. Louis Metropolitan Area.  We provide these services through the Tutor Me Program, which provides 1:1 tutoring/mentoring, homework help, charter development, financial literacy, and  STEM activities.  This program takes place during the school months of September to May each year school.  Another one of our programs that we have is the Explore St. Louis Summer Camp (ESSC), where campers have the opportunity to explore different exhibits, performances, and place outside of their neighborhood, Arts & Crafts/DIY projects, STEM activities, nutrition & health education, Career Day, and child cooking classes. This summer day camp runs from June to August each year. 

Over the years, we have successfully serviced many students academically through the Tutor Me Program. In the past, our program was implemented at the Urban Impact Center (St. Louis City - Lincoln University), University City School District at Barbara C. Jordan Elementary School, the Hazelwood School District at , and Jennings School District at Woodlen Elementary School. Currently, we are partners Saint Louis University, University Missouri of St. Louis, and Webster University. A short term goal is to partner with a school district or charter school within the St. Louis Metropolitan

Area and provide the Tutor Me Program was an after school program.

With our universal partnerships, college students are recruited as tutors into the Tutor Me Program. They participate through Practicums, Internships, Co-Op Programs, Volunteer Projects, Federal Work Study Program, and Sorority/Fraternity projects/programs.   

As an educational nonprofit, we are dedicated to the success of all students that partake in our programs, especially the undeserved students that are in need of tutorial services.  Two successful short term goals that we plan to reach are:

1. Partner with more school districts annually to implement the Tutor Me Program

2. Have a "forever home/building/school" to house Smart Kids, Inc..
