Volunteer Opportunities

Looking to volunteer? Yes! Great! We are in need of good volunteers like you. You can help us to that fulfill volunteer projects. With your dedication, we can get a lot done! 


TUTORS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED AND WANTED!!


Student Tutors and Tutor Facilitators are very important to the Tutor Me Program and we can surely use your help! We are currently accepting applications for college/university and high school students that are looking to be Student Tutors. In addition, this program can be used to fulfill Internships, Practicums, Volunteer Projects, and Community Service Hours.

Volunteer Position Descriptions

Community Event Volunteer

Availability:  Varies per event.

Helpful individuals to volunteer for current events. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.

Clerical Clerk Volunteer

Availability:  Varies.

Assist in the Clerical Department with the day-to-day operations for Smart Kids, Inc.

Fundraiser Volunteer

Availability:  Varies.

To assist with various fundraisers' ideas and assist with the development, planning, and execution of each fundraiser. 

Grant Writer Volunteer

Availability:  Varies.

 We are seeking volunteer grant writers to assist with grant writing for grant proposals, corporate contribution letters, and private funding donation on behalf of Smart Kids, Inc. We are looking to turn this volunteer position into a permanent position. This is a great learning experience for students who want to enhance their writing and oral skills (some experience/education is needed). This activity will also add tremendous skills to your resume.  

Social Media Website

Availability:  Varies.

   

We are seeking volunteers to assist with our social media pages. Volunteers should be able to create and deliver content that brings interest, and creativity draws attention and is eye worthy for the audience at hand on behalf of Smart Kids, Inc. We are looking to turn this volunteer position into a permanent position. This is a great learning experience for students who want to enhance their writing and oral skills (some experience/education is needed). This activity will also add tremendous skills to your resume.
